SONJA & ELAINE

The wedding of Sonja and Elaine has been a very special one. In fact I am friends with both girls from two different schools. Elaine and myself were in primary school together from the age of 8 till 11. Whereas then I met Sonja when I was 11 and started secondary school. So it was like leaving one friend and gaining another. Sonja and myself parted ways when we finished secondary school. You know life happens and before you know it we are all going on different paths, pursuing various dreams.

Years later, I met Elaine and Sonja and was delighted to find out that they were a couple! What a coincidence to know them both and see them in love.

They contacted me to shoot their big day and of course I said I Do (want to do this for you girls!).

The ceremony was held in their lovely garden in Siggiewi, surrounded by close family and friends. I admit when I saw Elaine cry, I shed a few tears too. Sonja remained the jolly girl I have always known…The cake was sweetly decorated, and the first dance was a dream, however these girls know how to party…and the cutting of the cake proved to be a funny one!
