DANIELA & GIANLUCA

The minute I sat down at the table and met Daniela and Gianluca, we hit it off immediately. The topic turned immediately to travelling and before we discussed wedding details, we spoke about our diverse travels. These two are avid travelers, a team and above all they love to have fun together. From that moment on I knew, that their wedding would be a blast!

I only shot Daniela getting ready in her parent’s home in Mellieha due to logistics, since Gianluca lived on the other side of the island. Daniela has 3 other brothers and sisters. She is the one sandwiched in between and you can read that in her lively character. I found her nearly all dressed, so I took her back upstairs and slowly we ran through the process whilst I shot away. I could see the excitement of her sister and brothers, all fussing over her! She was super excited too though, and this did not go amiss once she saw Gianluca at the far end of the church aisle.

They got married at the Xemxija Church, Malta. The reception was at Palazzo Promontorio in Wardija. Guests were abundant, laughs even more, especially Daniela’s Handball team! The dancing couldn’t stop since the bride and groom were spinning and jumping around, and left me no choice but to dance with them!
